2hollis is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of bassvictim, Tiffany Day, Bladee and Nate Sib. Those roots explain a lot about how 2hollis arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as rommulas, Glaive, Ericdoa, Frost Children and Snow Strippers, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Ken Carson and Lorde, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 18 connections around 2hollis, reaching back through bassvictim and forward to Ken Carson. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
