Alternative rockDance-popDeep house

Ani Lorak is a Alternative rock and Dance-pop act. Their catalogue also touches Deep house, Electronic and House. Their sound grew out of Philipp Kirkorov, Alla Pugacheva, Larisa Dolina and Grigory Leps. Those roots explain a lot about how Ani Lorak arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Artik & Asti, Tina Karol, Zlata Ognevich, NIKITA and Elvira T, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Sergey Lazarev and Dima Bilan, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 11 connections around Ani Lorak, reaching back through Philipp Kirkorov and forward to Sergey Lazarev. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
