Anirudh Ravichander is a Dance-pop act. Their sound grew out of Shashaa Tirupati. Those roots explain a lot about how Anirudh Ravichander arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Haricharan, Srinivas, S.P. Balasubrahmanyam, Jonita Gandhi and Palak Muchhal, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into S. Janaki, Irene, Diplo, Major Lazer and Yo Yo Honey Singh, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 14 connections around Anirudh Ravichander, reaching back through Shashaa Tirupati and forward to S. Janaki.
