Armada is a Black metal act. Their sound grew out of Ungu. Those roots explain a lot about how Armada arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Noah, Kerispatih, Dewa, Marcell and Agnes Monica, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Altogether the chart holds 7 connections around Armada, reaching back through Ungu. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
