Ben Böhmer

Ben Böhmer is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of ODESZA, Spencer Brown and Erin LeCount. Those roots explain a lot about how Ben Böhmer arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Lane 8, Monolink, Nora En Pure, Le Youth and Elderbrook, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Monolink, Spencer Brown, Panama, Erin LeCount and Oh Wonder, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 22 connections around Ben Böhmer, reaching back through ODESZA and forward to Monolink.
