Cheek is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Brädi, JVG, Lord Est, Hush and Mikael Gabriel. Those roots explain a lot about how Cheek arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as JVG, Fintelligens, Kaija Koo, Petri Nygård and Jenni Vartiainen, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Altogether the chart holds 26 connections around Cheek, reaching back through Brädi. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
