Dezerter is a Hardcore punk act. Their sound grew out of Carcass, Crass, Jingo de Lunch, The Stalin and D.O.A.. Those roots explain a lot about how Dezerter arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Proletaryat, Kobranocka, Zabili Mi Żółwia, Tilt and T.Love, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into The Stalin and Zdechły Osa, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 17 connections around Dezerter, reaching back through Carcass and forward to The Stalin.
