Drug Church

Hardcore punk

Drug Church is a Hardcore punk act. Their sound grew out of Black Flag. Those roots explain a lot about how Drug Church arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Trapped Under Ice, Ceremony, End It, Scowl and Higher Power, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Heart Attack Man, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 13 connections around Drug Church, reaching back through Black Flag and forward to Heart Attack Man. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
