Emma

Alternative rock
Alternative rockPop

Emma is a Alternative rock and Pop act. Their sound grew out of Elodie and Miriam Stockley. Those roots explain a lot about how Emma arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Alessandra Amoroso, Annalisa, Elodie, Giorgia and Marco Mengoni, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Sarah Toscano, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 20 connections around Emma, reaching back through Elodie and forward to Sarah Toscano. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
