Genetikk is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Insane Clown Posse. Those roots explain a lot about how Genetikk arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Kollegah, Sido, MoTrip, Farid Bang and K.I.Z., sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Karate Andi, 257ers, DCVDNS, Kollegah and Favorite, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 25 connections around Genetikk, reaching back through Insane Clown Posse and forward to Karate Andi. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
