Giggs is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Stylo G, Slick Rick, Popcaan, Lethal Bizzle and Krept & Konan. Those roots explain a lot about how Giggs arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as AJ Tracey, Stormzy, Dave, Ghetts and Kano, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Koffee, Original Koffee, Idris Elba, Big Shaq and Skrapz, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 29 connections around Giggs, reaching back through Stylo G and forward to Koffee. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
