Gjon's Tears

Gjon's Tears is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Elvis Presley, Samira Efendi, Destiny Chukunyere and Destiny. Those roots explain a lot about how Gjon's Tears arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Silvester Belt, Cornelia Jakobs, Kyle Alessandro, Nemo and Alessandra, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Destiny Chukunyere, The Roop and Samira Efendi, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 19 connections around Gjon's Tears, reaching back through Elvis Presley and forward to Destiny Chukunyere. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
