Göksel

Göksel is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Sezen Aksu, Sertab Erener, Dalida, Gripin and Yavuz Çetin. Those roots explain a lot about how Göksel arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Sertab Erener, Sezen Aksu, Hande Yener, Candan Erçetin and Kenan Doğulu, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Teoman and maNga, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 16 connections around Göksel, reaching back through Sezen Aksu and forward to Teoman. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
