Nana Okada is a J-pop act. Their sound grew out of Mion Mukaichi and Minami Takahashi. Those roots explain a lot about how Nana Okada arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Mako Ishino, Sakurazaka46, AKB48 and Judy Ongg, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into BNK48, CGM48, Nagisa Shibuya, Rina Kawaei and Mion Mukaichi, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 12 connections around Nana Okada, reaching back through Mion Mukaichi and forward to BNK48.
