Ojos de Brujo is a Reggae act. Their sound grew out of Macaco and Asian Dub Foundation. Those roots explain a lot about how Ojos de Brujo arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Estrella Morente, Ketama, Macaco, Estopa and Rosario, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Macaco, Celia Mara and Locomondo, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 14 connections around Ojos de Brujo, reaching back through Macaco and forward to Macaco.
