Parazitii is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Grandmaster Flash, B.U.G. Mafia and Zdob Si Zdub. Those roots explain a lot about how Parazitii arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as B.U.G. Mafia, Spike, Guess Who, Smiley and Doc, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Spike and Guess Who, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 11 connections around Parazitii, reaching back through Grandmaster Flash and forward to Spike.
