Philharmonia Orchestra

Classical
Classical

Philharmonia Orchestra is a Classical act. Their sound grew out of Esa-Pekka Salonen, Kirsten Flagstad, Carlo Maria Giulini, Richard Strauss and Arturo Toscanini. Those roots explain a lot about how Philharmonia Orchestra arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as London Symphony Orchestra, André Previn, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic and Fritz Reiner, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 25 connections around Philharmonia Orchestra, reaching back through Esa-Pekka Salonen and forward to The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
