Rajesh Roshan

Rajesh Roshan is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Lester Flatt and Neil Sedaka. Those roots explain a lot about how Rajesh Roshan arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Jodha Akbar, Ismail Darbar, Bollywood's Best with Neel and Esha on www.chutneyradio.com, Sonu Nigam & Alka Yagnik and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Sachin-Jigar, Kunal Ganjawala, Monty Sharma and Ismail Darbar, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 23 connections around Rajesh Roshan, reaching back through Lester Flatt and forward to Sachin-Jigar. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
