ROLE MODEL

ROLE MODEL is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Alexander 23, Benee, Matilda Mann, Elvis Presley and Mac Miller. Those roots explain a lot about how ROLE MODEL arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Gracie Abrams, Lizzy McAlpine, Del Water Gap, Audrey Hobert and Wallows, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Dasha, Charli XCX, Julia Michaels and Gracie Abrams, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 28 connections around ROLE MODEL, reaching back through Alexander 23 and forward to Dasha. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
