Treasure is a Dance-pop and Hip hop act. Their sound grew out of Yang Hyun-suk and Winner. Those roots explain a lot about how Treasure arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as TWS, CIX, Wanna One, CRAVITY and Epex, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into TOMORROW X TOGETHER, aespa, Stray Kids, Blackpink and BTS, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 20 connections around Treasure, reaching back through Yang Hyun-suk and forward to TOMORROW X TOGETHER. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
