Upsahl is a Dance-pop and Electropop act. Their sound grew out of Dreamers, WizTheMc and Sizzy Rocket. Those roots explain a lot about how Upsahl arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as KiNG MALA, Stela Cole, Cloudy June, Mothica and Chandler Leighton, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Le Sserafim, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 21 connections around Upsahl, reaching back through Dreamers and forward to Le Sserafim. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
