Dazaranha is a Brazilian rock band, formed in Florianópolis in the early 1990s. Its members are Adauto (bass), Chico Martins, Fernando, Gazu, Gerry (percussion), Moriel. The band combined reggae and rock, with strong participation arrangements violin.

Forfun was a Brazilian alternative rock band which reached the peak of its popularity in the mid- to late 2000s. Formed in Rio de Janeiro in 2001, their initial line-up comprised vocalist/guitarist Danilo Cutrim, bassist Vítor Isensee and drummer Bruno Tizé. By 2002, Tizé left the band and was replaced by Nicholas Christ, while Isensee switched his position with Rodrigo Costa to become second guitarist. Their first shows were frequently attended by the sons of then-Deputy Jair Bolsonaro, Eduardo and Carlos, who were personal friends of the bandmembers; Eduardo would later cameo in the music video for "História de Verão". They released in 2003 the demo album Das Pistas de Skate às Pistas de Dança, which was a significant underground hit, and in 2005 their official debut, Teoria Dinâmica Gastativa, produced by Liminha, came out through Universal Music Group.

In 2019, their second album, Coisas da Geração, was released and attracted prominence to the group in Brazil and other parts of the world. In 2021, Memórias , was released and nominated for the Latin Grammy Awards.

Melim is a Brazilian trio of siblings consisting of Rodrigo, Gabriela, and Diogo Melim. In 2016, they took part in the musical reality show Superstar on TV Globo, reaching the semi-finals, not advancing to the finals. In 2018, they signed a recording contract with Universal Music and released their first EP called Melim.

Gabriel Contino, better known as Gabriel o Pensador is a Brazilian rapper, writer, and composer known for his conscious lyrics which speak of activism, and issues of race, politics, social problems, and the Catholic church. Gabriel began his music career when he launched a demo tape containing the song "Tô Feliz " I'm Happy landing him a contract with Sony Music. Since then he has released eight albums: Ainda É Só o Começo, Quebra-Cabeça, Nádegas a Declarar, Gabriel o Pensador, Seja Você Mesmo , MTV ao Vivo, Cavaleiro Andante and Sem Crise. Gabriel has also written three books: Diário Noturno, Um Garoto Chamado Rorbeto and Meu Pequeno Rubro-Negro. Um Garoto Chamado Rorbeto won the Prêmio Jabuti, for best Children's literature.
