Kiana Ledé Brown is an American singer and actress. She first starred as Zoe Vaughn on the second season of MTV's horror series Scream (2015–2019). She also starred as Veronica Washington on Netflix's original series All About the Washingtons. Brown began her recording career in 2012, releasing two extended plays (EPs) until singing with Republic Records to release her third EP, Selfless (2018). It spawned the single "Ex", which received platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Her debut studio album, Kiki (2020), peaked at number 30 on the Billboard 200.

Ella Mai Howell is an English R&B singer and songwriter. Her career began at London's British and Irish Modern Music Institute in 2014, during which time she auditioned as part of a trio on the 11th season of The X Factor. In 2015, she released her debut four-track solo extended play (EP), Troubled in October of that year. The EP and her performances on social media were discovered by American record producer DJ Mustard, who signed Mai to his label 10 Summers Records, an imprint of Interscope Records.

Neo Jessica Joshua, better known as Nao, is an English singer-songwriter and record producer from East London. Her sound has been described as soul combined with electronic music, funk and R&B, while Nao herself coined the term "wonky funk" to describe her style. Tierra Umi Wilson, known professionally as UMI, is an American singer and songwriter blending elements of R&B, neo-soul, and alternative pop. Originally from Seattle, Washington, she attended the University of Southern California, but dropped out in 2019 to pursue music. UMI began gaining attention with her single "Remember Me" in 2018. Since then, UMI has released a string of projects, including the Love Language and Introspection EPs, her debut studio album Forest in the City (2022), and her 2024 EP Talking to the Wind. Courtney Shanade Salter, known professionally as Ari Lennox, is an American R&B singer-songwriter from Washington, D.C. She signed with J. Cole's Dreamville Records, an imprint of Interscope Records as the former label's first female artist in 2015. She started gaining recognition after the release of her second extended play (EP) and major label debut, Pho (2016). That same year, she made an uncredited guest appearance on Cole's song "Change". Her first full-length album, Shea Butter Baby (2019), was met with a positive critical and commercial response.
