Donnette Ruth Thayer is a vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter most active in the 1980s and early 1990s indie rock scenes of Northern California. Thayer was a member of the band Game Theory, and later formed Hex with Steve Kilbey of The Church.

Horkýže Slíže is a Slovak rock band formed on the 4th November 1992, in Nitra. At the beginning of their career, they mainly played hard rock, later comedy rock, which is also referred to as naive punk. Today, the band focuses exclusively on punk rock. Their lyrics are known for their humorous content and they sometimes produce parodies of other styles of music, such as 'R'n'B Soul', which is a clear take-off of contemporary R&B styles. Their other hits include "Maštaľ", "Vlak", "A Ja Sprostá", among others. Horkýže Slíže has received two platinum albums.

Elán is a Slovak pop rock band founded in 1968 by elementary school classmates Jožo Ráž, Vašo Patejdl, Juraj Farkaš, and Zdeno Baláž. They became one of the most popular Czechoslovak bands during the 1980s, releasing ten successful albums between 1981 and 1991. In 1993, the group represented Slovakia in the preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest but having finished in fourth place, failed to qualify for the finals in Ireland. Elán performed at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec, Czech Republic, as part of the championship's entertainment festivities. The band has toured internationally throughout their career. They have produced many well-known hits and won several awards, such as the Slávik Awards, Slávik, and Zlatý slavík, which they won four years in a row.

IMT Smile is a Slovak rock band formed in 1992 by brothers Ivan and Miro Tásler. They released their debut album, Klik-klak, in 1996, and as of 2026 have followed it with 13 more, as well as several live albums and compilations. The band has won numerous accolades throughout its career, including three ZAI Awards, two Slávik Awards, two Aurel Awards, three OTOs, and a Crystal Wing Award.

Wanastowi Vjecy is a Czech rock band formed in 1988 in Prague. The group consists of Robert Kodym on vocals and guitar, Štěpán Smetáček on drums, Tomáš Vartecký on guitar, and Radek Havlíček on bass. They began as a punk band but settled into a mainstream rock sound by the early 1990s. Kodym and former member P.B.CH. were also in the band Lucie, led by David Koller, which they had formed together in 1985. The duo formed the core of Wanastowi Vjecy until 2010, when P.B.CH. left.
