Admiral Freebee is also the name of a ship that sank in San Francisco Bay and was subsequently used as a buoy. Tom Van Laere is the brother of Tim Van Laere, founder of Tim Van Laere Gallery. The gallery represents Adrian Ghenie, Kati Heck, Rinus Van de Velde, Jonathan Meese, Ben Sledsens and Franz West among others.

Triggerfinger is a Belgian rock band from Lier, Belgium, formed in 1998. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Ruben Block and Mario Goossens as drummer. Bassist Paul Van Bruystegem left in 2023, his final concert formed their third live album Faders Up 3.

Gorki was a Belgian rock group, in its most recent line-up consisting of Luc de Vos, Luc Heyvaerts, Erik van Biesen, Thomas Vanelslander (guitarist) and Bert Huysentruyt (drums). Three songs by Gorki were number one hits in the Studio Brussel alternative hitlist De Afrekening in Belgium: 'Lieve kleine piranha', 'Schaduw in de schemering and 'Joerie' in 2006. Luc De Vos died on 29 November 2014.

Band of Skulls are an English rock band from Southampton, Hampshire. The band was founded in 2002 by vocalist and guitarist Russell Marsden, vocalist and bassist Emma Richardson and drummer Matt Hayward. The group formed after meeting in college, although Marsden and Hayward had been friends since high school. Following the respective departures of Hayward in 2017 and Richardson in 2022, Marsden has continued on under the moniker as a solo project. Band of Skulls have released five studio albums, the most recent of which was Love Is All You Love in April 2019.
