Harakiri for the Sky is an Austrian post-black-metal band formed in Salzburg and Vienna in 2011 by vocalist JJ and multi-instrumentalist Matthias Sollak, formerly of black metal band Bifröst. They have released six studio albums - Harakiri for the Sky (2012), Aokigahara (2014), III: Trauma (2016), Arson (2018), Mӕre (2021) and Scorched Earth (2025) - via German label AOP Records. The band has collaborated with numerous other bands in the post-black-metal scene, including Heretoir, Alcest, and Austere.

Liturgy is an American black metal band from Brooklyn, New York. The band have described their music as "transcendental black metal," which was especially described in a manifesto written by founding member Haela Hunt-Hendrix; in the process of transforming their style of black metal, they have experimented with other genres including progressive rock, hip hop and electronic music. In the band's early days, Hunt-Hendrix expressed her interest in the work of Swans, Glenn Branca, Rhys Chatham, La Monte Young and Lightning Bolt as influences.

Astronoid is an American post-metal band from Lowell, Massachusetts, formed in 2012. Started by vocalist Brett Boland and bassist Daniel Schwartz, the current lineup includes Boland, Schwartz, guitarist Casey Aylward, and drummer Matt St. Jean. They have released two extended plays, November (2012) and Stargazer (2013), and four studio albums, Air (2016), the eponymous Astronoid (2019), Radiant Bloom (2022) and Stargod (2025).

Spectral Wound is a Canadian black metal band formed in 2014, signed to Profound Lore Records.
