Tierra Umi Wilson, known professionally as UMI, is an American singer and songwriter blending elements of R&B, neo-soul, and alternative pop. Originally from Seattle, Washington, she attended the University of Southern California, but dropped out in 2019 to pursue music. UMI began gaining attention with her single "Remember Me" in 2018. Since then, UMI has released a string of projects, including the Love Language and Introspection EPs, her debut studio album Forest in the City (2022), and her 2024 EP Talking to the Wind. She has toured with artists like Conan Gray and Jhené Aiko, and collaborated with global figures such as BTS’s V.

AC/DC are an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1973. Their music has been variously described as hard rock, blues rock and heavy metal, although the band calls it simply "rock and roll". They are cited as a formative influence on the new wave of British heavy metal bands. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003 and have sold over 200 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling artists of all time.

Bossa nova is a relaxed style of samba developed in the late 1950s and early 1960s in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is mainly characterized by a calm syncopated rhythm with chords and fingerstyle mimicking the beat of a samba groove, as if it were a simplification and stylization on the guitar of the rhythm produced by a samba school band. Another defining characteristic of the style is the use of unconventional chords in some cases with complex progressions and "ambiguous" harmonies. A common misconception is that these complex chords and harmonies were derived from jazz, but samba guitar players have been using similar arrangement structures since the early 1920s, indicating a case of parallel evolution of styles rather than a simple transference from jazz to bossa nova. Nevertheless, bossa nova was influenced by jazz, both in the harmonies used and also by the instrumentation of songs, and today many bossa nova songs are considered jazz standards. The popularity of bossa nova has helped to renew samba and contributed to the modernization of Brazilian music in general.

Gabrielle Serene Varner is an American singer-songwriter. Born into a musical family in Brooklyn and raised in Los Angeles, Varner studied at New York University's Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music. In October 2009, she signed with RCA Records along with a co-publishing agreement with Sony Music.

Olivia Lauryn Dean is an English singer and songwriter. Her accolades include four Brit Awards and the Grammy Award for Best New Artist. Dean's duet with Sam Fender, "Rein Me In", was the longest-running number-one single in the UK Singles charts by a British act. Her music blends elements of pop, jazz, neo-soul, and contemporary R&B, and much of her lyrics focus on relationships and self-love.
