Doe Maar was a Dutch pop band that combined punk, ska, and reggae influences. Formed in 1978, they broke up in 1984, reunited in 2000, and remained sporadically active from then until 2021, when their frontman, Henny Vrienten, died. Throughout their career, the band released five studio albums, four live albums, ten compilations, and numerous singles.

Crazy Frog is a Swedish CGI-animated character and Eurodance musician created in 2003 by actor and playwright Erik Wernquist. Marketed by the ringtone provider Jamba!, the character was originally created to accompany a sound effect produced by Daniel Malmedahl while attempting to imitate the sound of a two-stroke engine.

August Jean Diederich is a German musician, rapper, and singer. Diederich uses the stage name Ski Aggu. He is known for wearing ski goggles and a tracksuit in his performances and other public appearances.

"Papaoutai" is a song written and performed by Belgian singer Stromae. The song was released as a digital download in Belgium on 13 May 2013 as the lead single from his second studio album Racine carrée (2013). The song peaked at number one in Belgium and France and became the best-selling single of 2013 in Belgium. A remix of the song featuring Angel Haze also appears on the album.

"Friesenjung" is a 1993 song by German comedian and musician Otto Waalkes and a parody of Sting's "Englishman in New York", in which Frisian life is highlighted.
