Tirone José González Orama, known professionally as Canserbero, was a Venezuelan rapper, poet, composer, philosopher, and activist. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, he is considered to be one of the most significant and influential figures in the history of Latin and independent rap in Latin America. Canserbero was known for his grim lyrics and unique voice that addressed social injustice, life, death, consciousness, personal struggles, and the realities of life in Venezuela. His music resonated with the country's struggles, and he became a voice for the marginalized.

Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, known professionally as Bad Bunny, is a Puerto Rican rapper, actor, singer-songwriter, and record producer. Dubbed the "King of Latin Trap", he is widely credited with helping Spanish-language rap reach mainstream global popularity and is considered one of the greatest Latino rappers of all time. Music critics have also noted Bad Bunny's role in broadening the international appeal of Latin urban music by incorporating elements of salsa, rock, and other Latin genres into his recordings.

"This Is America" is a song by American rapper Childish Gambino. Written by Gambino, Ludwig Göransson and American rapper Young Thug and produced by the former two, it was released on May 6, 2018, at the same time that Gambino was hosting an episode of Saturday Night Live. The song also features backing vocals from fellow American rappers Slim Jxmmi of Rae Sremmurd, BlocBoy JB, Quavo of Migos, and 21 Savage.
