◇ image via Wikipedia2 Unlimited
2 Unlimited is a Techno act. Their sound grew out of T99 and Ace of Base. Those roots explain a lot about how 2 Unlimited arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Culture Beat, Ice MC, Maxx, Technotronic and Whigfield, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Let's Get to It, Ich komme, Ruki Vverh!, Zight and I Guess I Like It Like That, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 27 connections around 2 Unlimited, reaching back through T99 and forward to Let's Get to It.
