Afrob

Afrob is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Samy Deluxe, Massive Töne, Joy Denalane, Gentleman and Sekou. They run in the same orbit as DJ Tomekk, Samy Deluxe, Massive Töne, Beginner and Ferris MC, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into DJ Tomekk, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 34 connections around Afrob, reaching back through Samy Deluxe and forward to DJ Tomekk. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
