Aitana is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53, Rusowsky, David Bisbal, Amaia and María Peláe. Those roots explain a lot about how Aitana arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Amaia, Vicco, Chanel, La Oreja de Van Gogh and Malú, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Rosalía, Karol G and Danna Paola, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 30 connections around Aitana, reaching back through Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53 and forward to Rosalía. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
