El Canto del Loco is a Alternative rock act. Their sound grew out of Vega, Pereza, M-Clan, Duncan Dhu and Hombres G. Those roots explain a lot about how El Canto del Loco arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Dani Martín, Pereza, Estopa, Fito Y Fitipaldis and Maldita Nerea, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Pereza, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 37 connections around El Canto del Loco, reaching back through Vega and forward to Pereza.
