amazarashi is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of The Blue Hearts and TM NETWORK. Those roots explain a lot about how amazarashi arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as TK from 凛として時雨, Eir Aoi, Galileo Galilei, NICO Touches the Walls and MAN WITH A MISSION, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Asian Kung-Fu Generation and Mika Nakashima, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 18 connections around amazarashi, reaching back through The Blue Hearts and forward to Asian Kung-Fu Generation.
