Drum and bass

Andy C is a Drum and bass act. Their sound grew out of DJ Hype, Federico Ágreda and Dynamite MC. Those roots explain a lot about how Andy C arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Wilkinson, Friction, DJ Hype, High Contrast and Culture Shock, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Wilkinson, Sub Focus, Camo & Krooked and Chase & Status, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 20 connections around Andy C, reaching back through DJ Hype and forward to Wilkinson.
