Andy Gibb

Andy Gibb is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Alessi Brothers, Night Fever, Spirits Having Flown, Too Much Heaven and Richard Page. Those roots explain a lot about how Andy Gibb arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Bee Gees, Captain & Tennille, Samantha Sang, Leo Sayer and Firefall, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into The Irish Rovers, Dee Gees, Don Felder and Air Supply, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 47 connections around Andy Gibb, reaching back through Alessi Brothers and forward to The Irish Rovers. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
