Asteria is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Lil Peep and wifiskeleton. Those roots explain a lot about how Asteria arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as A Heartwell Ending, Cute Is What We Aim For, Set It Off and MCCAFFERTY, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into 6arelyhuman, Hatsune Miku, SICKBOYRARI and Britney Manson, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 10 connections around Asteria, reaching back through Lil Peep and forward to 6arelyhuman. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
