Lil Peep is a Rap and Trap act. Their sound grew out of Clams Casino, iLoveMakonnen, Metro Zu, Fat Nick and Yppah. Those roots explain a lot about how Lil Peep arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as XXXTentacion, Xavier Wulf, Drippin So Pretty, Pouya and Fat Nick, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Love Spells, Asteria, Metro Zu, carolesdaughter and XXXTentacion, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 31 connections around Lil Peep, reaching back through Clams Casino and forward to Love Spells.
