Ambient
AmbientDance-popDrum and bass

ATB is a Ambient and Dance-pop act. Their catalogue also touches Drum and bass. Their sound grew out of 009 Sound System, Rea Garvey, Stanfour, Michael Cretu and Heather Nova. Those roots explain a lot about how ATB arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Fragma, 4 Strings, Ferry Corsten, SASH! and Chicane, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Topic, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 27 connections around ATB, reaching back through 009 Sound System and forward to Topic. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
