Ayla

Ayla is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Supertramp and Pat Metheny. Those roots explain a lot about how Ayla arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Fragma, Mauro Picotto, 4 Strings, ATB and Three Drives, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Alok, DJ Encore, York, Ava Max and Tiësto, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 18 connections around Ayla, reaching back through Supertramp and forward to Alok. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
