Blue System is a Synth-pop act. Their sound grew out of Baccara and Modern Talking. Those roots explain a lot about how Blue System arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Modern Talking, Savage, Lian Ross, Radiorama and Mike Mareen, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Systems in Blue, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 25 connections around Blue System, reaching back through Baccara and forward to Systems in Blue.
