Crown Lands

Crown Lands is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Rush, Tagaq and Neil Young. Those roots explain a lot about how Crown Lands arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Amarok, The Flower Kings, Steve Hackett, Weather Systems and Big Wreck, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Jack White, Greta Van Fleet, Kiss, July Talk and Dream Theater, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 18 connections around Crown Lands, reaching back through Rush and forward to Jack White. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
