Dub Pistols is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of London Posse and Rodney P. Those roots explain a lot about how Dub Pistols arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Asian Dub Foundation, Gentleman's Dub Club, Chinese Man, Soom T and Vibronics, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into London Posse, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 19 connections around Dub Pistols, reaching back through London Posse and forward to London Posse.
