Dubioza kolektiv is a Reggae and Ska act. Their sound grew out of Manu Chao and S.A.R.S.. Those roots explain a lot about how Dubioza kolektiv arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as S.A.R.S., Bijelo Dugme, zoster, Zdravko Čolić and Jaya the Cat, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Dino Dvornik and La Pegatina, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 19 connections around Dubioza kolektiv, reaching back through Manu Chao and forward to Dino Dvornik.
