Fiji

Fiji is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Elvis Presley. Those roots explain a lot about how Fiji arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as J Boog, Common Kings, The Green, Katchafire and Gyptian, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Kolohe Kai, Maoli, Irie Love, J Boog and Glenn Medeiros, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 20 connections around Fiji, reaching back through Elvis Presley and forward to Kolohe Kai. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
