Grand Corps Malade

Grand Corps Malade is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Dionysos, Kery James, Calogero, I Muvrini and Céline Dion. Those roots explain a lot about how Grand Corps Malade arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Soprano, Calogero, Louise Attaque, Francis Cabrel and Benjamin Biolay, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Hocus Pocus and Fatal Bazooka, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 17 connections around Grand Corps Malade, reaching back through Dionysos and forward to Hocus Pocus. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
