ILLIT

ILLIT is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Le Sserafim, Salem Ilese, KATSEYE and That's Not My Name. Those roots explain a lot about how ILLIT arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Le Sserafim, Hearts2Hearts, KiiiKiii, IVE and Yena, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into NewJeans, izna, Le Sserafim, Kylie Cantrall and Sophie Powers, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 35 connections around ILLIT, reaching back through Le Sserafim and forward to NewJeans. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
