Javiera Mena

Javiera Mena is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Gepe, Alex Anwandter, Jeanette and Las de la Intuición. They run in the same orbit as Alex Anwandter, Teleradio Donoso, Francisca Valenzuela, Gepe and Juliana Gattas, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Candelabro, Gepe, El Guincho, Julieta Venegas and Kings of Convenience, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 20 connections around Javiera Mena, reaching back through Gepe and forward to Candelabro.
