Background
Kittie is a Canadian heavy metal band from London, Ontario. The band was formed in 1996 by guitarist Fallon Bowman and drummer Mercedes Lander, with guitarist and vocalist Morgan Lander and bassist Tanya Candler joining the following year. Morgan and Mercedes have remained the band's sole constant members, with their current lineup featuring guitarist Tara McLeod and bassist Ivana "Ivy" Jenkins. As of 2026, Kittie are estimated to have sold more than one or two million albums worldwide.
