La Polla Records is a Punk rock act. Their sound grew out of Eskorbuto and Kortatu. Those roots explain a lot about how La Polla Records arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Barricada, Reincidentes, Boikot, Siniestro Total and Extremoduro, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Barricada, Boikot, Eskorbuto, Kortatu and R.I.P., where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 20 connections around La Polla Records, reaching back through Eskorbuto and forward to Barricada.
